Wine shipments are shipped via FedEx and must be signed for by a person of legal age (21+). FedEx will not leave a package without an adult signature.
We would love to be able to ship to consumers all across the USA, but due to individual state regulations we are unable to ship wine to every state. Please contact the winery for individual state availability.
Shipping Policy
Please note that shipping of alcohol requires an adult signature (21 years or older) upon receipt.
I understand that when I purchase wine, ownership passes to me upon shipment from the winery. You are authorized on my behalf to arrange shipment of the wine to me. I certify that I am at least 21 (twenty-one) years of age and legally able to purchase wine*.
Wine is shipped from our winery via FedEx from Monday-Friday approx. 9 am to 5 pm and requires an adult signature for delivery. If no one is available to make the signature requirement, please consider sending to an alternative address to ensure prompt delivery of a perishable product. FedEx will attempt to deliver three times. On the third failed attempt to deliver, FedEx will hold the shipment at their nearest facility for a period of 3 days. If after the 3 days the wine is not picked up by the customer, the wine will be returned to the winery. Any subsequent shipment of the wine to the customer may be subject to additional shipping and handling fees.
*Warning: Minors providing false information when obtaining alcoholic beverages over the internet will face criminal prosecution and civil liability. Violators may be charged federally with wire and credit card fraud, and under multiple state laws prohibiting the attempted purchase or possession of alcohol by minors. Penalties include monetary fines, jail time, criminal probation, loss of driver's license and a criminal record that must be disclosed on job and college applications. Licensed sellers of alcohol (including wineries and retailers) who pay large fines and lose alcohol license privileges for sales to minor are entitled to sue the minor for compensation. All internet customers must provide a credit card number and delivery address and can therefore be positively identified to law enforcement. If you are under 21 - do not risk your future.
Weekend Shipping Policy:
In order to provide you with the highest quality wine experience, some orders may be delayed. Unless it is specifically requested by the customer, all out-of state orders will be shipped to insure that wine is not held in-transit over the weekend by FedEx. This practice prevents your wine from being subjected to prolonged environmental conditions which are beyond the control of Lamoreaux Landing Wine Cellars. Please use the comment box on the online order form or call the winery at 607-582-6011 to specify any unique delivery needs (i.e., ship-after dates, deliver-by dates, do-not-deliver windows, etc.).
